Clinical Supervision

I currently provide individual, dyadic, and group supervision to new graduates and counsellors/therapists for professional development purposes in accordance with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CRPO).
I strive to offer the following during my supervision meetings:
  • Curate a compassionate, non-judgmental, and empathic space where the supervisee can ask any questions related to counselling/psychotherapy.

Supervision meetings include (but are not limited to):

  1. Unpacking client concerns (i.e., presenting problem, summary, therapeutic updates).
  2. Exploring self-care practices/Safe and Effective Use of Self (SEUS).
  3. Discussing professional development opportunities (i.e., decolonized approaches, mental health, writing effective process notes).
  4. Recommending CCPA/CRPO learning enhancements (e.g., reviewing articles, completing templates).
  5. Sharing relevant psychotherapeutic literature and resources.
